Our state-of-the-art foundry has delivered world-class castings for over 40 years. Our moulding area consists of two loops; one for small and medium castings plus a floor moulding area for larger castings weighing up to 2,600kg.
Once the mould has been created then the melting process can begin. The steel is loaded into one of our three electric induction furnaces enabling us to melt up to 3,800kg of liquid steel. Once cooled, the castings then go through the finishing process this includes the following: oxy propane cutting and arc air for removal of the runner system then grinding, shot blasting / grit blasting and pickling. We also carry out proof & finish machining at our in-house machine shop.
